clementine owens I hate the way I cry when you say you miss me But I love the way you hold me when I sleep I hate the way I bleed each time you kiss me But you say “hey, sleeping beauty, go back to sleep” We had pennies in our pockets age: seventeen screenname: tarotcard gender: female group: second year species: demigod: daughter of apollo teams/clubs: orchestra (piccolo, first chair), art club astrology sign: sagittarius birthdate: December, tenth • imaginative • clever • dependable • compassionate • brave • stubborn miscellaneous: A weekend spent in Mykonos with friends was how the mess started. Clementine’s mother was your average twenty-two-year-old British female human who, after one too many ouzos, spied a handsome local, playing lead guitar for the live band of that current bar and immediately made sure that he knew her name. And quite a few other things. Nine months after that brief drunken encounter Clementine was born.• impatient • defiant • temperamental • manipulative For the first three years of Clementine’s, or Clement’s, life she seemed normal. Gifted – picking up a guitar at age three and being able to play her favourite songs on the telly convinced her mother that Clement was going to be someone, and no-one possessed a colour pallet quite like Clement’s amongst her fellow pre-schoolers – but normal. But then the dreams started, as did the sicknesses. It prompted Clement’s father to make his first appearance in her life. Though how he had known about her or her “talents” is still a topic of much debate. Apollo didn’t stick around for long. Just long enough to confess to Clement’s mother that she had had a one-night-stand with the Greek god and that their little girl wasn’t “quite human” but that her “peculiarities” would settle down with time and age, maybe even disappear for good. But they didn’t. By the time that Clement was fourteen, her mother had gained a local reputation for inducing terrible food poisoning on any poor sod stupid enough to hook up with her and try her cooking. Only mother and daughter knew that it wasn’t food traumatising any potential boyfriends. It was Clementine. It prompted Apollo’s next and final appearance. And him orchestrating Clement’s enrolment into St. Hillshire. ooc name: domino ustream checker - dani, clementine owens |
