It's always been out on the streets where Erik has, and ever will have, felt at home. Surrounded by the scents leaking out of nearby restaurants, the usually buzz of people being out and about - it was like home to him. Considering that Erik's few homes did not relate to the environment at all, it was odd on how he'd felt so at peace there in the first place.
To be honest, if Erik had his way, he'd be left out of school to hang around in Belmont for the rest of his life. It was a peaceful little place, and more importantly, he preferred it over the big cities that he'd been to. It was nestled happily into its own corner of the world, undisturbed by all except the crazy inhabitants, and he wouldn't have it any other way.
"Finley?" He'd told the other third year that he'd meet him by the eat-your-heart-out district. Honestly, Erik wasn't even sure if the other would show up. He was certain that he'd be left in the dust for a girl one way or another.
